I wanted to take a moment and thank everyone who has visited my gallery and appreciate your encouraging messages. For those of you who have added some of my submissions to your favorite lists has been very inspiring to me.

I find being an artist has it's ups and downs. One moment I'm feeling good about what I have done and other times not. I guess you can say I'm a moody person.

It takes a great deal of time and dedication to reach our goals and after spending "many" years working as an artist and painting and such in my free time, I feel I'm at the top of my game. Although, with that said, I still start pieces and feel unsatisfied with some of them and they never get finished or seen by others. I have boxes full of unfinished works or even finished ones that to me are "crap".

To keep my motivation being an artist moving, I've taken on different avenues such as photography, which I've only been doing for a year now and teaching myself to play music with a electric dulicimer. As for the works I've seen at Deviant, the only thing I can say is "WOW" some really nice stuff and thanks for sharing it with me.
